Laptop Distribution

Beginning in 2011, the Laptop program Prize Distribution Scheme awarded laptops to students who received 60% in the annual exam system or 70% in the semester system.

Each year, 100,000 exceptional students who are enrolled in public institutions and universities throughout Punjab or who have achieved good scores on the Boards of Punjab’s Matriculation Examinations are given computers. Eligibility Criteria

The following groups of young people in Punjab will receive 100,000 laptops:

• All four-year BS/BSc program first-year or first-semester students enrolled in medical/dental colleges, engineering universities, agriculture universities, veterinary and animal sciences universities, and technology colleges who received at least 60% in the previous annual exam, or 70% in the previous semester exam, if the system is in place
• Every first-year or first-semester student enrolled in a two-year master’s program who received 60% or higher on the most recent annual test or 70% or higher on the most recent semester exam
• During this phase, laptops will be given to the remaining eligible evening students from the previous year; no new names will be added to the lists of students who have previously been registered or deemed eligible.
• 100 of the best matriculated students from the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, the nine Provincial Boards, and the Technical Boards

400 top Matric and Intermediate Exam students from other provinces, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan, as well as new MS, M.Phil., and PhD scholars from public sector institutions in the province, who did not receive laptops during the previous year’s program and who received 60% or higher in the previous annual exam, or 70% or higher in the previous semester examPublic sector federal institutions in Islamabad and their regional campuses in Punjab have the top 10 students in each department.

After creating merit criteria and obtaining Chief Minister clearance, the Auqaf Department will distribute 4,000 laptops to the students of “Deeni Madaris.” 

Nevertheless, the following are not qualified for this program: 

• Scholars with an MS, M.Phil., or PhD who have been awarded scholarships by the Higher Education Commission
• Students working in any type of profession, whether it be private or public
• Students who previously got laptops as part of the previous year’s program
• foreigners, with the exception of students from Indian-occupied Kashmir and Azad Jammu & Kashmir
