Eligibility Criteria

Domestic customers that fall into one of the following groups and consume up to 200 units per month are eligible:

Up to -50 Life Line units
51–100 Life Line units
Units 0-100 (Protected)
Units 0-100 (Un-protected)
101–200 Protected Units
101–200 Unprotected Units

For customers in the province using up to 200 units per month, solar systems will be installed at no cost. Approximately 861,000 customers have applied for the free solar panel program. The end-to-end digitizing method will be used to finish the free solar panel program. Under the plan, about 471,82 kW and 47,301 kW systems will be installed. Free solar systems will be provided to customers that use 100 or more units each month. The reference number and CNIC number found on the customer’s monthly bill will be used for verification. To help and facilitate the customers who receive free solar panels, a helpline has also been established, and the chief minister was notified.
